Adsl2 Router

This device works great as long as I never turn the power of at the wall, once I do this and turn back on again there will be no internet connection. I then have to fiddle around on the page to get it going again - usually by changing the channel. Does anyone know a way around this? I like to switch it off at night when it is not in use and would like to switch it back on again and have it work without this hassle. Just to be clear its the FIFI that doesnt work?

Is the channel number changing or staying the same?

I have ethernet LAN in my office which is connected to the router and internet access on all PCs is through the ethernet LAN. However there are times when internet connectivity is down.

In such times, the LAN networks works fine. I want to install a 3G modem so that when the internet connectivity is down, the PC's will wirelessly connect to the 3G modem and access internet through 3G but LAN through wired network. Team Fortress 2 Download Full Game Tpba.

I tried this but the internet traffic still goes through the ethernet network with no internet connectivity. The simplest way to do this is to use a dual wan router. Mediamonkey Shoutcast Plugin here. Many of the asus and tplink routers have this ability. They can use the 3g as a backup. You of course can do this on your PC also but it is better in a office with many users to put in on a router. The huge issue is how do you detect the internet went down.

If you have a person detect it is pretty easy for force the traffic over either by logging into the router if you did it that way or modifying the routes with the route command if you are using a PC. Automated tools are tough nothing actually goes down. Its not like the modem turns it self off if it loses connectivity to the ISP. Even worse say the ISP is actually up but it loses one of its connection to its upstream partner so now only part of the internet is down and part is up.

This is the exact reason large companies use routing protocols so they can detect outages. They are constantly sending messages to the ISP router and if these stop or the ISP tells them something is down they can take a action. The only automated things I have seen recommended for consumer grade equipment was to run scripts that run ping commands to something on the internet. If the ping fails too much they issue command to change the path.

I am not sure if the asus and the tplink have that yet I know the ddwrt loads for the router you can do that. Apologies for the late response. I have 10 laptops on the network. All are on wifi network.
