Ccmsetup Install Switches
Hi, I have to install SCCM 2012 Clients on some VPN client machines VPN Connectivity is slow i have to install the cleints offline. For this I have copied ccmsetup.exe file on local machines and run below Command to complete the installation. Clients are getting installed but taking a lot of time. In that case i am still showing some files are downloading from SCCM server in ccmsetup.log please suggest i don not want to download any files from sccm server for the installation on VPN client machines. How can i achieve this, i do not want to use any script to make a complex installation just i want to use manual command line as below.
Should i copy the complete client folder to VPN client machines for the installation. Such things i have also checked but in that case still files are being downloaded from SCCM Server.

0 Why would a tech need or want a progress bar? Um so I know when the install is done so I can continue with the next install. When using SMS package delivery system you can not click on multiple packages as it will prompt with an error that SMS is currently busy with a previous clicked item.
So if the program being installed is over 40 megabytes and low and behold its over a WAN connection and the downloads/installs are very slow then at least we can have a clue when the install finnishes. Good example is when using SAP. Installing that beast over a 10mbit connections can take up to 45 minutes if you are not over a 100mb LAN. Installing via SMS on my company on a 10 half or 10 full connection makes all SMS installations fail hard even with the latest version of SMS. A progress bar or some clue as to the progress so the IT person does not have to hurry up and wait.
